  3. I'm 8 weeks and the same has happened as well. The past 2 weeks I have made bad food choices. I have a appt for a fill tomorrow and have been so tempted to cancel as my dr had given me a 5kg weight loss goal between visits. I didn't want to be a failure. But I'm going and facing my bad choices. Back on track. In making this journey count.

  5. I too relate. But I've lost 20kg (sorry not sure what that is in pounds) but when people comment On the weight loss I just can't believe them. In my mind they're just saying it to be nice and I know it's not true. I agree we can work on our weight loss and succeed, but we need to pay just as much attention to learning to love ourselves. Now to go and practise what I preach.
  6. I was about to post about this to get advise as I too seem to feel hungry a lot of the time. I was banded 07/29 and have had one fill. It good to know that it may take a few fills to get there. But I know how you feel, Sophie, about the food separation. It's so hard to break the habits. And the one food I really like too is chicken and I can't go near it. But silly me keeps trying. Unfortunately chocolate does go down easy just can't have it in my house. But I can't wait to lose that hungry feeling and then I won't think of food as much.

  8. That's fantastic and very encouraging. I'm 6 weeks in and have a long way to go. So great to hear you reached your goal. Cheers to you.
  9. Thanks so much. I've only had one fill since op and still working out what I can and can't eat. Definitly not in the green zone yet. Sounds like a good spot to be in.
  10. An someone explain the green zone for me?
  11. Hi Had my band on the 29th of July. To date I have lost quite a bit. Had my first fill 2 weeks ago but in the past few days I've found myself nibbling all day. Just like I was before. But nibbling on the bad foods as they're the ones that go down too easy. This just goes to prove that you really need to work on yourself and change the habits. I'm NEVER going back to what I was so I've decided to bin all bad foods. Thanks just needed to vent. xxx
