  4. Think positive! Think of 09/19 is your new birthday. From what I've learned here....relax, take it easy and one day at a time.
  5. It's no ones business but your own. People are quick to judge. Society thinks obese is disgusting...so I choose to talk her and not talk at work!

  8. Hi Everyone. My name is Dawn and I had my surgery on Thurday Aug 23rd. Prior to the surgery I was down 10 pounds because of the liquid diet. I went in on Thursday was weighed, had the surgery and was released home on Friday afternoon. When I got home, I was 11 pounds heavier! Now, 3 days later...I'm still trying to get to the weight I was at the day of surgery (3 pounds away). I have stuck to the diet like glue, drinking my proteins and my little bit of broth. Am I overreacting to this? I see my Dr on Wed, but I'd like to see if I could get others opinions. While in the hospital, I was connected to an IV drip the entire time and I can remember the bag being changed at least 4 times. Water retention? Help me get my head out of the clouds! Thanks for all your help!
