I think my surg date will be pretty close to yours. All is done, just waiting for surg date....and have to get darn CPAP machine working grrr...lol. Keep in touch:)

I haven't decided yet either. I work in a hospital setting with many very opinionated hardcore health nuts (makes sense I guess). I figure post-op they will figure it out soon enough. I put some 'feeler questions' out there to see what my co-workers and people close to me thought about WLS; and got a lot of negative input....so I just told myself, I'm doing this for me and my health...bottom line. Will figure it out as I go, as far as what I am willing to share....that said, I am pretty darn excited:)

Thanks for sharing everyone. I am confident reflux will be better post op as weight goes down w/ making good food choices. Sticking with sleeve pretty excited:)

Hi fellow sleevers! I am pre-op and new to this forum. My doctor will be doing hiatal hernia repair when he does my sleeve surgery. He discussed that gastric by-pass might be a better option since I have reflux. He said that post op reflux it's pretty individual, and could be better, or worse with the sleeve. He also mentioned I could be converted to a by-pass later should reflux get out of control post sleeve surg. Any experiences to share?
