I like to believe its my body thanking me for eating healthy, the exercise Im now doing and the less weight I am now draggin around! I even pat my tummy sometimes and say settle down in there...Hahah!! All normal noises I believe!
  11. That now that I have reached my first goal... Why does a size 10 not look like a size 10 I thought would look on me? Weird! I know I bought a 10 because thats what the jeans say but my brain and eyes dont see a 10? Does this change?
  12. Heavens Sake! First lets take a deep breath! Did they fix a hernia? They did with me and I had that pressure but you are a trooper because I had to take something for the pain just couldn’t do it! As far as the protein goes…I have found the GNC has the best tasting for me…Amplified Wheybolic extreme 60…Cookies and Cream is to die for! Yum! BBQ chips kisses! That made me laugh! And you ask can you survive! ABSOFREAKINLUTEY you can! Believe me if I can anyone can! Surround yourself with supportive people! The noise your body is going to make will amaze you! Especially if the room is very quiet is kinda entertaining! It’s a journey and you will learn quickly that you must listen to your body and do as it tells you! Take it slow! How about V8 have you tried it? Stay positive! And let us know how things go!
  13. Thanks so much! It was an amazing morning in my house hold! Im debating now and what to do and I am getting some feed back from my family and not sure what do to. Gonna post a topic later.

  16. Hello everyone! Wanted to share my exciting news! I reached my 1st personal goal today! I always weigh in on Friday mornings however today I was going for a fill number 7 and wanted to take note on how close my scale was to the doctors. When I decided to have lapband, banned on Nov 21, 2012 weighing 260 I set my goal to weigh 200 pounds however that quickly changed and didnt want to be in the 200s. I wanted to be 199. I have been working my tail off to reach that point and this morning I stepped on the scale looked down and it read 198.0! I said WHAT! Stepped off and right back on again! And sure enough there it was 198.0...I stood there on the scale and cried tears of happiness. I havent weighed anywhere close to 198 since my early early teens. 62 lbs GONE! If YOU believe in YOU anything is possible!
  17. Girl I understand where you are coming from! I too have very concerned about people...and decided to only tell my close family and the man that I was dating of course! And still there are people that dont have a clue that I had anything done! To me if people around you arent supportive then you DO NOT NEED them in your life! People pass judgement no matter what we do..Thin fat tall short...People can be just plain mean! Do it for yourself and health! You are coming upon a beautiful journey and a brand new life! Dont worry what others think...Think positive! best of luck!
  18. Funny that you write this today! My gf and I (she has lost 117) were talking about this yesterday and how we still see our old selves. On occasion I will catch a glimpse of myself in a window or mirror and almost have to do a second look to see if that is really me! Im not sure if your brain every catches up with your weight?!
  19. This sounds so crazy! But I am addicted to crossing my legs! I can not sit in a chair without sitting this way...I have heard before that its not the best pratice! If so, Why am I so comfortable with it?
  20. Like the others have said...Just hang in there! It takes a few times before things get to the "green zone"..For me I always fall back outta green at right about 6 weeks and my tummy said Feed me Please! Its worth everything you have done to this point and will be worth every struggle you face going forward! think Positive! Good Luck!
  21. I deal with the jiggle! haha! At first I was pretty embarassed by my tummy and my rear but now...Who cares! Im off the couch, outside and doing more than most people that want to have something terrible to say about me! I have come along way as have you! GO US! I did buy a pair of tight running shorts and they are so comfortable that I want to wear them everyday! Ill be doing W2D2 today! keep yall updated on things!
  22. I wished there was a LOVE button for this!!
  23. NO way could I give up coffee! I have been drinking regular coffee since a few weeks post op and use FF French vanilla coffee most of the time. If am I visist a location or at the office and we run out I will use regular cream with no sugar. You might try the liquid SF sweetners int he coffee section I can not recall the name of them and not sure what they use to sweeten it however. Coffee has not hindered my weight loss at all however I will tell you that I am drinking at least 70 ounces of Water a day. Like others have said its about balance and moderation! Good Luck!
  24. Good Morning Crystal... Its called Couch to 5k and yes its available on android Im using it on my HTC Evo. I finished Week1 day3 yesterday and surprisely I didnt feel like I was about to die! haha! I just may turn into a runner yet! Good luck and let me know how you like it!
  25. Cmarie, Your body will for sure let you know when you aren't eating right! Or at least mine does! and WATER! Lets not forget that!! Its a must!
