    Hello, I am new to this sight as well. I haven't decided when to do my lap band surgery (thinking of Oct). I wanted to know how long the recovery time is after your surgery because of being a teacher. Do you need a lot of bed rest afterwards like 3-4 days and then are you able to go back to work? i am 267 lbs. I want to go to 160lbs. I have been approved for lap band through my insurance. I am looking forward to it so tired of being heavy for the last 12 years. Any suggestions you could give to me?
