  1. Hey jsayles how many days post op are you?
  2. Girl yes! I just started soft foods and what a difference it makes!!! Meanwhile 2 weeks post op and 21lbs lighter I can't believe what a noticeable difference I see in my clothes and reflection. My tummy is even flatter and it doesn't hang as low! lol Absolutely amazing.
  3. Loving the subject...lol Random question, how was this published tomorrow? (Feb. 24) lol!
  4. I def think it depends on the dr. Next week I will be starting phase three at 2 weeks out and my surgeon has cleared ground turkey and ground chicken for this stage, so the burger is plausible.
  5. My drain is out! It felt gross coming out! Ewwww ....lol. Meanwhile, my surgeon put in way too many stitches....ugh! Took the nurse a couple of minutes to get them out.
  6. How is everyone out there?
  7. Its been a week and i still have it on me. How do I get this cap off?!
  8. My drain was actually located on my left side and I actually do feel it when I lie down and as another person said you feel it if you bump up against it. It doesn't really hurt to me, but its annoying and uncomfortable at times. I keep mine pinned on the inside of my shirt and just.roll my shirt up and put a jacket/ shall over to hide it better. Hope that helps!
  9. My left side soreness went away right around 7 days. I have a JP drain in tho, so it may not actually take that long.
  10. To the losers bench you go! Can't wait to see you there! lol
  11. I would like one of the new Lays chicken and waffle potato chips and a piece of kielbasa sausage! #random
  12. Per day....I guess it feels like a lot when you've been doing Clear Liquids only for a while. Thx for the feedback!
  13. Ok, so I am one week post op and I feel like I am eating and drinking all day to the point that I feel like I am overeating and drinking. Im consuming about 1/4 a cup of heavy Soup (no chunks, one step above broth), I can do 3/4c of broth, yogurt cup, popsicle and another 1/4c of heavier soup then get in most of my liquids. Does that sound right for a day? I feel like that's a lot of food , like Im pigging out but its only 420 calories. Im feeling guilty....WTH?
