  1. Same craziness here. I considered going to a different surgeon but it would have taken much longer. I definitely will not be recommending them. What I don't understand is why they would not take better care of their clients?! They are getting enough $ out of us!
  2. Just got my sleeve date of 2/13. Experiencing some anxiety but its all good....I think thats pretty standard.
  3. Hi guys, I finally got my 2/13 date and I am doing quite a bit of self talk! Im reviewing some nsvs that will come shortly after the surgery, reminding myself of why Im doing this and telling myself I will be back on solids in several weeks. I CAN AND WILL DO THIS! Losers bench all the way!!!

  15. Sheree I have to agree with 2013newme regarding the letter from your pcp. They also agreed but it took them a month to buckle down and do it! And thats with me calling them regularly and dropping in!!!! I've been with them for almost 10 years and I love them but it was excruciating!
  16. Actually Sheree, my apologies...the location you are referencing is separate from emory/ Atlanta Medical downtown. My.bad!
  17. Hi Sheree, I have not yet been sleeved however I am using Dr. Titus Duncan. I chose him as he is reportedly one of the best bariatric surgeons in Atlanta coupled with the fact I have relatives and friends whom have utilized his services. NOW, LET ME SAY THIS! I have been fairly disappointed with his office staff. Plenty they can improve on! Hope this helps.
  18. Bmarion I do understand. You would think they were working for free the way they are handling things.
  19. Hey guys, it's just a place for everyone to post their thoughts and feelings the day of surgery and while they are hospitalized and the rest of us provide encouragement etc to them!
