  1. Had surgery 9/10/12. since then I was feeling full after eating maybe a salad or piece a piece of chicken breast. Never had a an episode of getting stuck just eating well. I got my first fill last week and it turns out my doctor had filled me to 5.2 during surery. So just got .8cc more. Now i feel hungry more often. My next fill is scheduled for next month. Should I call to have it sooner or just wait?? And is this normal?
  2. So glad to know its a normal part of Wls. Thank u for the feedback. I will make sure to have more liquids. Now time to get a good night sleep on my sofa. yesterday was horrible because I didn't take my pain meds and it was so uncomfortable and painfull tring to sleep in my own bed and laying straight.
  3. Im sure if this is normal. But I'm been having a hard time with the 1st week liquid diet. Not able to drink much. Im ok until today I went to the park and got really dizzy and weak. Well long story short I've lost 8lbs and it seems too much for me. Is this the norm for 1st week post op????
  4. I've got the lapband the same day. I also have been sleeping on my recliner. So much easier to get up with not having to ask for help. So I sometimes feel a rumble in my tummy. Could it be hunger or gas??? Im just not hungry but would like something different to eat rather than juice, broth and sf jello and Popsicles. I considering going back to work tomorrow. I'm at the same WAight range too. Started my journey at 295lbs and date of surgery 278 and today at 275. So glad I did it.
  5. So how much have you lost in pre op diet?
  6. Thanks I'm at work and that lean cuisine is tempting me. . I'm going to toss it and be strong. Thanks for the advise. I so love all this encouragement.
  7. Day two on my diet and I'm so hungry. It may all just be all in my head. All I think about is food. What can I do. I'm on the 2 proteins shakes and dinner diet under 800 calories. Has anyone cheated and still lost the 10lbs in 2weeks???? Please help.
  8. Thanks. Lots of great advs. Well I work at a construction office and am alone most of the time because all the 6guys that work here are gone for weeks. I think I can manage coming back to work On the forth day post op. I'll just have to get the courage to tell my boss and see how it goes from there.
  9. I just started a new job. First should I tell them about the surgery. It's hard to take days off so early on. But I think I can have surgery on a Friday and go back Monday it's a desk job. Any suggestions????
