Nov 7th here... I am not too nervous yet but I will be a wreck on Tuesday.I am enjoying a glass of great value sugar free grape drink and reading VST lol.

I will have mine done at San Antonio Military Medical Center on Nov 7th. The Bariatric program is a self refferal program and approval is fairly clear cut:)

I soo feel you on not wanting I lose the boobies and booty.I am hoping to go from 224 to 135 after my sleeve next week . I used to be that small and had plenty of T and A... I am worried with the weightloss that the extra skin I have grown since them will not shrink back and my T and A will be saggy and therefore look lost. I have a 3 point plan for this... 1. Squats and Lunges 2. If my boobies go I will not hesitate to buy new ones. 3. Lunges and Squats

You are right the statistics are not on our side...I thought I had escaped it up until I turned 30 and now I have high blood pressure and I am pre diabetic... So there is no time like the present to make this change:)

I am not 5 ft tall but I am 61.5 inches ( I shrank I used to be 62.5) My goal is 135-140 and my surgeon agrees with this weight goal I am currently 224.

Has anyone tried SEI Nutrition's Max Protein? I saw it on a blog and a lot of people like it...I am thinking about ordering it.

November 7th

There is another November Sleevers thread you can check out :)I am getting sleeve in San Antonio TX on November 7th!

The wait shouldn't be long once the list is completed ... It is definitely less than 30 days for me. I called them right before I did my last nutrition class and let them know I would be done on Oct 15th. I did call them again once I was done and I reminded them via their FB page after a week went by and I hadn't heard anything. The airman at the desk said I wouldn't hear for 2-8 weeks which I thought was odd bc Trisha said the wait wasn't long which is why I messaged them.I am glad your son will be here to help. My sister is coming from Ca for a visit and to help with my kids and my husband will be around some of the time but has a few military commitments.

I have not been sleeved yet but I have completed my checklist (oct 15th) and I have a surgery date as of yesterday it is November 7th. I chose Dr. Harnisch bc I met a couple of his patients who seem very happy with him and he seems like a no BS kind of Doctor.I am also on AA Sleevers and I will keep everyone updated on my progress.I have to start liquids the Doc said start today or by no later than the end of week.

I did not have to submit to insurance per se. I am a Military dependent (spouse) I am going through a Bariatric Program at a Military Hospital and once you complete your checklist the surgeon reviews and makes sure you have met all requirements.I had to do the same things most of you did with Nut and Psych and an Upper GI.Our surgeons don't let us pick random dates but they give us a window. That being said my surgeon called me yesterday and ..... I GOT A DATE!!!! November 7th is my date which is T- 13 days away:) Now I am nervous.

OMG got my date November 7th... Surgeon said I need to start liquids tomorrow or NLT the end if the week... I have to shop and get some things as I really did not expect they would come back with a date so close:) I am scared Now!

I have submitted everything and my file has been reviewed I am waiting on a call from my surgeon so we can set a date!!!

Ok got my TSH leveled out so everything is a green light for me now:) I am just waiting for the office to call me and set up a date... I really may be able to set something up for the end of month??? IDK but we shall see.

Haven't had mine done yet... I was supposed to be done this month but was delayed... So I am not exactly sure I could possibly still be done at months end....I will be done at SAMMC:)

Where are you getting sleeved at? I live in San Antonio too!
