This particular thread was a lifesaver last night. I was on day 3 of clear liquids and when I went to bed last night, I started feeling puny, sweaty, shaky, my stomach was in knots... I thought I was starving to death. All I wanted was a piece of bread! I just knew it was going to calm down my stomach. Well, I read this support group page instead and all of you veterans were posting positive things to people who felt like me saying that it was a sort of withdraw and to hang in there. Well I listened, didn't eat the bread, and had the worst nights sleep ever. BUT, I woke up this morning, felt 100% better and proud that I didn't give in to the old me! I'm on my way friends and I am proud that I stared my demons straight in the eye! I'm ready to rock this surgery tomorrow! THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES!
