  1. What a horrible scary day, just for back from the surgeons office, I am 25 days post op and suffering severe pain in my upper stomach area, after having a scan done there is no leak but bad swelling in the area he took out the hernia in my diaphragm, so it's another week of liquids for me and antibiotics, that's going to be over a month of liquids. At least now I can relax knowing its not a leak.
  2. Thinking about you today Kelli, can't wait to hear your doing well.
  3. Hi there I was sleeved on July 27th I still get some gas pains in my shoulders and back but I find walking a big help
  4. Thank you Kelli, so far I honestly can say I have felt great, day one and two are hard but by day three I was waiting at the door for my husband to take me home, I'm up and moving well I do get very tired though, my doctor found a hurnia on my diaphrame so he removed that also. The most discomfort I felt was from the gas but after moving around it settled, I still have that gassy feeling when I drink but it's only brief. All in all I can honestly say I have no regrets so far and am really suprised how little pain I have had, most is coming from my diaphragm.
  5. Best of luck Mama I am 5 days post op and I feel amazing, the surgeon found a hernia on my diaphrame and removed this during surgery so I have a little extra discomfort, but sitting here now I can't believe it's been 5 days and I feel this good. My thoughts are with all who are heading through this journey.
  6. Hello, fellow Aussie here from Sydney and on day 5 post op, just reading through your thread.
