  1. I can't wait to change my hair, will be getting mine cut off and coloured probably as summer hits. Short and blonde.
  2. Woops, I have had that with milk over the past few weeks, can't stomach any milk. Its great everyone is feeling better and doing better and excited about surgery (Lila). I had a good moment today also, over the past 4 weeks I have been wearing my old big uniforms, as alot were elastic pants and big shirts, but today we had casual dress and I wore clothes that fit better and the moment I walked into work everyone commented "holy crap you have lost lots of weight haven't you" such a great day. 20 kgs down now. Love my sleeve.
  3. Thanks Lilly, I did celebrity slim shakes pre op. and have some left over. Didn't even think about them. Thanks. I dont mind the taste of them also.
  4. A qq for everyone, do any of you use a Protein shake? If you do which one. I don't think I am getting enough Protein from my food and am thinking of doing a shake also. I have hit a stall over the past week and am thinking of increasing my protein. Also increase my exercise. Hope everyone is well. Also have a good week.
  5. Congrat Lilly, I can't remember the last time I was under 100. Very exciting to reach your 1st goal.
  6. That is awesome kelliv, congratulations.
  7. Wow you look awesome! Keep up the great work. Just a question, as i started around your weight, I am 4.5 week post op and have lost 18kg (39pds), but do you have much excess skin?
  8. Good luck for tomorrow, you will be fine, think positive and just think about the new you you will meet after.
  9. Wow, interesting, I never got pictures. But my surgeon told me mine is just straight without the sticky out bit.
  10. Most of the time it's on an empty stomach that I have yogurt or milk (breakfast) I thought it was that but tonight I had dinner early and thought I might have a little yogurt fir dessert but was still the same feeling. I have heard some people have this so I hope it does subside over time.
  11. A question to all the post sleevers. I am having a bad time with milky products. I was having yogurt and milk and just thought i was getting use to my sleeve but now being 4 weeks out, even a sip of milk just makes me feel sick. Never had any problems with milk before the op. I am worried I will always have this problem and will then have to take Calcium meds and find alternate Protein. cheese is no problem Thanks
  12. I did get around $1000 back from Medicare. My surgeon charged $4500 and my anaethetist cost $1350. I think the breakdown was $300 from anaethetist and then the rest from my surgeons bill.
  13. It will come I think I was hitting day 4 out of hospital than not until day 10. Now it's regular as on solids.
