Wow you are looking awesome, congrats- I Had The Sleeve So I Can Get Pregnant
Thanks meremb, I have heard that too but I have also heard your body will stop losing weight for the baby, as it needs more nutrients. I am not planning to actively try until the new year but I am also not taking birth control. We are being careful as I do want to drop as much weight as I can before hand.- Attention ! Wow you look awesome, such a huge difference. I am the same ladies, I am having a fight with my head every time I look in the mirror. All I see is fat. Yes I still have 50ish kgs to lose but I have lost 26lg so far and my clothes are falling off and people are complimenting on a daily basis but all I see is my big tummy and legs and arms. Maybe I should get another photo and put them beside each other just to see. It might help my brain actually see before and after. So funny how the brain works.- I Had The Sleeve So I Can Get Pregnant
Thank you so much for all your replys. So many different answers. I am hoping to start trying at 6 months out, just depends on how much weight I have dropped. Good luck to all of you! I will keep you all posted.- Attention ! Australian Sleevers

- I Had The Sleeve So I Can Get Pregnant
Hello everyone, Just wanted to introduce my self, I have been very interested in all the posts on this thread from the moment I joined. The main reason that I got the sleeve was so I could have another baby. Plus the other reasons of becoming healthy for my my other child and to prevent any health issues in my future. I am 32 years old and have an almost 3 year old, I fell pregnant first time around pretty easy as I had dropped 30kgs (66 lb) due to losing it for my wedding, I then put on that 30kgs during the pregnacy and then another 20kgs (44 lb) in the 12 months after. At my heaviest I was 159kgs (350lb). I have been fat all my life. I was still obese when I got married but did feel great. My issue is keeping it off long term. We started actively trying again when my son turned 1, that was almost 2 years ago. But nothing, every month I got disappointed. But now I am 25kgs down (55lb) I am 8 weeks post op and haven't felt this good in years. I am loving the sleeve and love dropping my weight but can't wait to get pregnant again. I had my 2nd follow up with my NUT today and she says most surgeons (here in Australia) say its ok the start trying after about 6 months. I was wondering what everyone's opinion was. I am hoping to drop another 25kgs (55lb) by the year possibly start trying in the new year. Yes I know I won't be at goal but I really don't want to wait much longer as the gap would already be 4 years. Thanks for reading and your comments.- 2 Weeks Post Op. I Have A Question?
Hello sleevers, I am 8 weeks post op and had a stall at 2 weeks and then again at 4 weeks. Don't worry, your body is in shock and just needs to catch up with what's happened. The scales will start moving again. Also even though you aren't losing on the scale doesn't mean things aren't happening, your body needs to reassess what has happened and is will change other things. Keep following the diet and you will start to lose again real soon.- Attention ! Australian Sleevers
Had my dietitian appointment this afternoon. She was very helpful. She advised my multi Vitamin is all I need at the moment but I am to get a blood test before seeing her next, just to check everything. She will then tell me if I need anything. But if I am feeling good then I shouldn't be lacking anything at this stage. And I feel fantastic. My sleeve can handle anything (besides full cream milk). But that will change. As I was not lactose intolerant before I should be good in a few months. Bowel movements she told me to start taking some benifibre, that will help harden up my bowel movements. Or at least make them normal. Thanks for everyone's reply, good to know I am not the only one that has a lot to lose and am so happy to be going on this journey with a of you.- Attention ! Thanks everyone. I am with you all too I would prefer the saggy skin over being obese. But definately be adding reconstructive surgery to my health fund. I have also been looking into Thailand. A friend and I are keen on that option, get it all done. I would like to show myself off after the hard yards I have gone through. I will post tomorrow night after talking with my dietitian. - Attention ! Australian Sleevers
