  1. Thanks everyone! I was thinking day after so it's nice to be reassured. He would be able to come up and visit in the evening after work - thanks for reminding me - I think my brain is overloaded! I am sticking tight to the Optifast diet. It was hard at first but I hope it helps on the day
  2. Hi everyone, I am a little bit panicky because my surgery is on this Thursday! My problem is my DH can only take one day off work. I have to stay overnight and so I was wondering if it would be best to have him with me on the day of surgery or the day after to take me home and take care of me? My parents can come in and pick me up the day after if needed but they are quite old and drive a very...um...rough truck.... and I live more than 1 hour from the hospital..... Has anyone gone through the day of surgery alone? Was it ok? I would really appreciate any advice from you guys! Thanks
