  1. Im almost 5 months post op and my doctor says I should be over 1000 calories a day by now but I just cant seem to get there. I feel like I have to "snack" all day to get over 1000 and when I do I feel disappointed in myself for eating so much food. Its crazy that I think thats such a large amount when 5 short months ago that was ONE meal for me. Can anyone this far out give some examples of what you eat in a day and how many times a day

  10. I had surgery October 1 and since 1 week postop have not walked or done any form of exercise. I could make up plenty of excuses( I have moved, work 60 Hr weeks, -b12 levels low) but anyways I'm not here to make excuses or be judged. I don't want to waste this opportunity I have been given. Where should I start? How much? How often?
  11. I'm not complaining about the amount I have lost just not liking this 3 week stall. A pound a week would be ok with me
  12. Stats if they help. Highest: 314 day of surgery:288 today:266 I'm 6'2 also
  13. I was sleeved 10/1. I lost 26 pounds preop and have lost 26 post op. The bad part is I lost the 26 in the first 3 weeks and nothing since. I hope I'm not done losing the weight. I struggle to get in even 800cal a day and my doctor says I should be at 1000 a day by now I get in my 70-80 g of protein and all my fluid and calcium too its just the calories I can't seem to up yet. The highest I have gotten was 990 and that was a day where all I did was make myself eat ALL day long. How can I jump my weightloss back up?
  14. Are there any people in there early 20's that have been sleeved in alabama? I'm looking for someone I can be sleeve buddies with
  15. I was sleeved October 1. I'm down 26 post op add that to my 26 preop and I'm 52 pounds down. I know 26 is great but if I started exercising I'm sure things would go smoother. I'm currently not exercising at all ans still having trouble getting liquids down(slap on the wrist)
  16. I had to take my nuvaring out for 3 weeks prior to surgery because of the risk of blood clots
  17. 4 days. But my doctor didn't say when
  18. This is comforting to hear. The first four days were hard to drink anything but that's getting a lot easier
  19. I'm 7 days post op and I'm on full liquids. I'm worried about stretching my pouch. I can eat a whole sf popsicle in 10 min and an 8 oz. Protein shake in about 30 min. I stop myself with sf pudding and soup and only allow about 4 oz. I do this because I don't feel hungry ever and I don't feel full either so I don't want to push it too far. Any suggestions on where I should be at.. my Dr said drink fluids slowly and as much as you want because they go straight thru the stomach
  20. Any thoughts on a sf cherry slush from sonic during the clear/ full liquid stages postop. I'm having a hard time getting fluids down. Popsicles ,sf hot coco,a protein shake hear and there is about all that will go down. Sorry to ramble my question is would the sf slush be ok?
  21. 17 laps down.... The walking really does help
  22. Already walked 4 laps around the unit. The pain isn't unbarable. I thought I would feel like something is missing but I don't ... Sorry if that doesn't make sense
