  1. I am 5'6" and 260. I have lost 13 pounds in the 6 month doctor visits. I guess I haven't really thought about it, but 140 would be a good number. I have been overweight my whole life, I think it will feel really strange.
  2. Boomshelle, great post! You are so funny! Glad things are going good for you.
  3. Your pores shrink? That would be nice. One person I talked to said she grieved for food for about a month after her surgery.
  4. My surgery is August 2nd. I have started my pre op liquid diet I am not sure how I am going to do this. We get 2 cups steamed veggies a day, but need to stay away from potatoes, corn and peas. I am starving and have a headache!
  5. We have 2 protien shakes a day, 2 pieces of fruit, 2 cups of steamed vegetables and 2 8 oz glasses of skim milk. We can have all the water, sugar free jello, popsicles, broth, etc that we want. I must say though, I have had my shake this morning, with a pear. I am still starving. I am trying to fill up on broth. I think this must be in my head.
  6. I work within the department that cares for sleeve patients, so I have been pretty open about it.
  7. I am fortunate that I didn't have to do the apnea study? Did anyone else not do it?
  8. I am having my surgery August 2nd. Starting my pre op diet tomorrow. Can we have coffee on our pre op diet?
