I'm laying in my hotel bed waiting for the alarm to go off. My surgery is in 4 hours. Man, I'm hungry!
Trying not to think about what's coming too much. I'm afraid I'll talk myself out of things.
Prayers and warm thoughts are appreciated.

Keep some payaya enzyme around to help with those times - it helps "unblock the plumbing" according to my Dr. It really does settle your stomach if you have something that is just lying there.

Today at lunch, without a thought in my head or a care in the world, I snarfled down the remainder of my daughter's McDonald's fries. I was watching her play and not thinking at all. When I reached for another fry and found the box empty, I literally bonked myself in the head in the middle of the restaurant! ARGH!
I didn't slime (shocking!) but that was at 12:30 pm today and I am still feeling the discomfort 8 hours later. Had half a protein shake for dinner and will be back to liquids tomorrow to calm my poor little sleeve down.
Just thought I'd share that complete DOH! moment with y'all for a bit of accountability. Old habits lie in wait for when we aren't paying attention!
