  1. Question 1... Does anybody take liquid calcium, and if so how do you deal with the horrible taste???? Question 2... I am day 3 post surgery... I have not yet pooped!!! At what point should l panic??
  2. You dont need to sit through the meetings, l never did.. But you must physically go there for your weekly weigh in!!! Most important, be sure to visit with your primary physician 3 times during those 6 months, where he/she acknowledges WW and that they have counceled you on weight loss
  3. Hey.. I live in Buffalo.. And l have bcbs as well.. Yes, you need a 6 month, "medically supervised" weight loss program... This can NOT be done by the bariatric surgeons office... So your best bet is to join weight watchers for six months, during that period, visit with your primary Dr 3 times, where he/she "councels" you on weight loss.. Be sure your Dr writes this info in the Dr notes, and you get a copy of it to submit to your ins... Oh, by the way, you must FAIL at weight watchers.. If you lose too much, they will assume u dont need surgery.. Because of bcbs, my process took a year, but l finally had my surgery this past tuesday...
  4. Thank you TMeyers .. Uts all making sense to me now.. My surgery was tuesday, l came home last nite.. My recovery so far is goin good.. Im still sore inside, but the liquid loritab is nice.. Im still weak, but lm sure its to be expected.. On a good note, l was finally able to fart today lol
  5. It does.. The bottle says 1 tsp... But l dont know if thats the dosage that the Dr wants me to have!! Im very new to this.. Lol
  6. So its my 1st full day home.. I am trying to take my calcium citrate.. My paperwork says to take 600mg... But l bought the liquid!! And l cant find the conversion anywhere!!!
  7. Just had my surgery today... July 17th.. Its now 2am on wednesday.. Im in my hospital bed, l cant sleep, it hurts to move... I sure hope its going to be worth it!!!
