  1. Lava, So sorry to hear that you have had so many problems. But it also sounds like things are looking up. I have not had surgery yet but am nearing that life altering decision. If you were me knowing what you know now, would you do the surgery? Please tell me about your journey. Your starting weight, the amount of lbs you lost over what period and how much more you want to lose. I have been fighting a massive weight problem for a long time..tied to extreme stress, depression and using food as an outlet. I have taken the weight off two times and 30 or 40 pounds numerous times. I am very concerned about all the problems I hear people having with the band. But most, with the exception of one who had a lot of problems, would do it again. I just don't know. When you get stuck .....how do you get unstuck since you're not suppose to have liquids with your meals..any info would be most helpful - I wish you the best as you move to resolving your problems.....
  2. Did they do psychological counseling. I know in my case at least the obesity is linked to depression.
