  1. I will admit that I still want to look good on the outside... so that is a reason. But also, and mainly, I am tired of being tired. I have always been an active person and since the weight gain, I just don't have the energy. I have terrible sleep apnea and really, really want my cpap machine to go away. I have reflux that I would like to go away also. I love clothes and can't wait to fit into cute things again. Sorry y'all. I am not as advanced! I want to be cute again!
  2. I am so ready for my face to thin out and my NECK! My neck is so "plump" that I can't wear my cute necklaces. I am hoping to lose there first!
  3. I am scared of the very same thing. I have heard stories from completely nauseous for a week to it being fine. So I guess we will find out!
  4. In Beaumont. Surgery scheduled in Houston for July 19th.
  5. I am in Beaumont, but getting surgery in Houston with Dr. Marvin. My date is July 19th.
  6. I have a hiatal hernia as well and my doc said that is why I have so much reflux They are fixing it when they do the surgery.
  7. Ok, I said that wrong. I chose not to do the one-incision surgery. Does anyone have any stories about the differences?
  8. Me too!!!! It almost doesn't seem real.
  9. I am a fairly big baby and I am a little nervous. I have heard that it is not the pain that gets you but the nausea
  10. I am a 50's person who is getting the sleeve next week. Yikes!

  12. I am July 19th in Houston! Yippee!
  13. This is the one thing I am worried about giving up. I am a HUGE diet coke fan. I don't drink coffee but love to wake up to a icy cold diet coke! I am really hoping to get over it after this and switch to water and tea.
  14. My surgery is next Thursday - July 19 in Houston with Dr. Marvin. I am a little nervous. Especially about what to expect right after and coping with the first week. I chose not to do the one incision surgery and I am nervous about that decision. I would have had to wait until August 14th for the laparoscopic and I want to get this done before school starts. Does anyone have any comments about either choice?
