  1. You guys are so lucky getting purees so soon. I have full liquids till the 31st. That's when I meet with the NUT to get the ok to move on.
  2. Yeah I have been doing the Cheddar broccoli. Love it but it gets old. I have just been having yogurt and soup. I'm so ready to have solid foods. I don't have any problems with the liquids or food so far.
  3. What is everyone "eating" during full liquid stage? I started full liquids and I'm getting tired of the few choices I have come up with.
  4. One week was on Thursday for me also. I don't think I have lost much weight cuz I haven't moved around much in the last week. Have been in so much pain. Pain was finally tolerable today so went for a little walk. Hopefully things will start to look up soon.
  5. Docs are just saying its pain from the trauma of everything coing out and being pulled. I dont understand how proper can have no pain after this surgery. I get irrotatedcuz my mom will say "u just had a major surgery, u will have some discomfort." If it was discomfort I could handed it. I have fibroyalgia so I know all about discomfort.
  6. I have been having a lot of pain with the incision. I've been to the er twice now cuz I can get any relief. I can't stand up to walk, cant do my exercises cuz I can't stand straight. Only thing that helps is dilaudid and I can't take that home obviously. Ugh I wish it would disappear.
  7. This is exactly what I'm dealing with. Mine is on the right side and is the only thing that hurts. I got sent home with liquid vicodin which didn't touch the pain and ended up going to e.r. and got a shot of morphine and toradol. Worked for about an hour then back to the pain. E.r. doc sent me home with liquid percocet and it doesn't touch the pain either. So I have just been suffering. I will try the heating pad since I saw that helped some people. Hope we get through this soon!
  8. They didn't give me strong enough pain meds. Liquid vicodin that I can take every 6 hrs. It lasts about an hour. I can't stand up straight to walk.
  9. I had surgery yesterday and out of 6 incisions only one is killing me. Its the only one that has stitches. Ugh. Only one night in the hospital though so that was nice.
  10. Yay! I'm today too! I have to check in at 11:15! Good luck to us!
  11. I had to drink a bottle of magnesium citrate at 4 this afternoon. I have surgery tomorrow morning. After I took the gross stuff, I noticed I started to get a pain on the right side and like right by my ribs. Last year I had a ct scan done and my doc said I had some gallstones but they weren't bothersome so nothing was done. Could this pain be from my gallbladder?
