Me too...I thought it was my computer! I spent an hour trying to get my LBT fix..:shades_smile:

I use 2 scoops of protein powder ( Body Fortress from Wal-mart) in 32 oz. of Crystal Light peach tea. No creamy taste and not to sweet. Thats 52mg of protein and it tastes pretty good. Of course everyone has different tastes...so you might not like it. I guess we just have to experiment until we find something we can stand to drink. :embaressed_smile:

Called awhile ago and got a follow up appointment with Dr. Choban for April 10th at 2:45. They must be catching on to the problem because the person I talked to said the doc doesn't realize how backed up she is but that she would call over and tell them that they had to fit me in. It only took a few seconds to find a spot....which means I better take a book and plan on waiting a while!:wink2: Other then that....life is good.:wink2:

Hi Texas, I was banded on Monday and it was a lot smoother then I thought it would be. You will do just fine. The waiting was the worst part for me, but I am feeling fine. Good luck!! :thumbup:

I am not going to be happy if I have to see another Doc. I want to see the one I chose. You're right Heather at least we are going in the right direction, but I really don't think it should be difficult to get a follow up appt with your doctor . My my my, I'm feeling a little cranky this morning.:thumbup:

I'm home and feeling fine so far. Glad it's over and glad I had two lapbandtalk friends to go through it with me!

I know how you feel..My co-workers have been great but my boss just complained about having to cover my shift while I'm off. She didn't even say good luck, hope everything goes well, call if you need anything...nothing. I am darn sure that I won't be getting flowers or a card from the company. You're right, they do think that because it's an elective surgery it's the same as a boob job, you don't really need it, you just want it to look better! Whew!!! I didn't know how p...ed off I was about this until I read your post.:thumbup: What would we do without the support of this board? :blushing:

I had my last appt with Dr. Choban on Thursday....she said see you Monday. I agree with you SpecialK....WOW! Niki..you are a big help with my last minute jitters! I hope we all do as well as you have! Greg.....Dr. Choban said no green IVs :thumbup:

I was told by BCBS Mass that the fills are covered as long as they are submitted as a medical necessity.
