  1. Day 3 of my 12 day diet. Optifast shake x5 for 10 days and clears for 2. I want to chew on my own arm.
  2. I have not been sleeved until next week, but I did have an open cholecystectomy with 3 drains. I fainted when they pulled out the JP drain. It didn't hurt, but something about the sensation triggered a vasovagal reaction (swooning). How embarrassing! They called 911 (i was in the doctors office) Just Do It!!!
  3. You are right. The gummies I got were not calcium citrate, and my Nut says calcium phosphates or calcium gluconates are not absorbed by sleeves, so I bought calcium citrate chews at the local Tommy K Vitamins Just Do It!!!
  4. Drooling....lobstah bisk ya. My favorite! Just Do It!!!

  6. My husband is a boxing instructor and fitness trainer for NY Sports Club. (his hobby)I don't go to his classes because of 4 little ones at home, but I know a lot of his students that absolutely love it. At home it is fun, but the in the gym, It is a BIG workout. Just Do It!!!
  7. I hear you. I will be working, on the road, it just seems convenient. I actually had baby food before way back when I was in my 20s to stay under 130 lbs. didn't seem so bad then. I figure that I (meaning me, myself and I and not making presumptions for others) I can do it for one week. I may try to puree the meat I cook for the family (protein first) at dinner, but anything pureed is maybe not so yummy, in my taste. Let me know of any yummy pureed recipes. Just Do It!!!
  8. I am entitled to an opinion about baby food, having raised 9 of them. Nothing inappropriate about that. Really? Just Do It!!!
  9. Fairfield Bariatrics on the CT gold coast, Dr Craig Floch. It is stage 3 week 3, pureed diet. Puree everything, but baby meats for protein are a good alternative and high in protein. A 2 1/2 oz jar of chicken, turkey or beef has between 8 and 10 grams of protein. i don't see what the big deal is, on the go. It's not like forever. Just Do It!!!
  10. Pure Protein Shakes are ok 35 g in 12 oz can, 170 calories Just Do It!!!
  11. Kfc

  15. Well' date=' every surgeon is different. Mine has me on mushies on week 3. Week 1 is clears week 2 is full liquids, 3 mushies, 4 soft, 5 re introduce solid foods
  16. PB2 has 45 calories and 5 grams of Protein, so once a day should be great. I bought some torani sugar free syrups made with sucralose (not as healthy as PB2, but zero calories) i tried Peanut Butter and salty caramel in my Optifast, and it definitely yummed it up. I have vanilla, brown sugar and cinnamon, white chocolate, and gingerbread flavors for oatmeal during my soft phase and for Breakfast afterwards. I had to buy a case of the assorted flavors on amazon, but it was only 35 for 6 bottles.
  17. Mushies is a week. Can only eat about 3 oz of protein per meal anyway. Add some condiments and baby meats arent that bad...honestly, it's just a week
  18. You letting us know, brought a tear to my ear. So glad she has a great hubby by her side.
  19. Many ins companies will ask for a two year weight history from your pcp for a bmi of 40. For bmi lass than 40 to 35 you may need one or two comorbidities as well
  20. Many surgeons require a pre op diet because it shrinks the liver making. Isualization with a laperscope easier
