1. exactly! i think that's why i get frustrated! how am i supposed to figure out home cooked meals???? i have MYFITNESSPAL too but i don't always eat meals you can easily find in there. it just gets frustrating that i'd rather just learn to do something else to help me lose weight. i know the smaller portions has helped me as well.
  2. i'm getting the exercise in daily. by the grace of God but i AM doing it! i guess i can just focus on the Protein every meal and working towards 60grams daily. maybe that'll work?
  3. i hate counting calories, carbs or doing any kind of homework. now that doesn't mean i'm gonna go out and eat everything i shouldn't be eating, i stick to small portions and stay way from the bad food. i just don't like having to count points or numbers or keep a food diary. has anyone had success in NO COUNTING???? what do you do? how do you do it? or am i stuck with counting and doing homework if i really want success???

  6. thank you so much for all your advice and encouraging words. this really is great resource and i wouldn't know what to do without it. so what i got is.... eat mostly Protein make good choices snack good choices keep busy don't rely on the 1st fill because even that might not hep and don't stress because this is all normal (hahahaha the "don't stress" made me laugh!) THANKS AGAIN!!!!
  7. i'm still days out till my 1st fill and this bandster hell is winning! my hunger is back and with a vengeance. i don't even want to get on the scale because i'm scared of seeing how much of the weight i lost i've gained back i'm trying so hard to make good choices and to keep to my 1 cup servings but it's not enough!!! the good choices isn't so hard. i know i need to stay away from the bad and that's more mental than anything but the servings is a hunger thing....i think. all i know is that after a 1 cup serving meal i'm still hunger and looking around at everyone else's plate like i could eat theirs too! ugh, how does one survive this with their sanity and confidence that this will work in the long run??? because right now i'm starting to question everything!

  9. Thanks I'll have to look up YouTube. Also starting body pump and kickboxing with weights. I just have to be careful still because I'm only three Weeks post OP and still in some pain. ZGB

www.fabtofit.Blogspot.com
  10. i love zumba and do that at least 3-4 times a week so my cardio is being taken care of. i know i need to start doing some weightlifting even though i'm not really a fan of it. i don't really have the money for a personal trainer so i'm looking to do this on my own. does anyone have an easy to follow (for a beginner) weight lifting or muscle toning workout plan for me to follow? or maybe a website, an app or a link i can go to that help me with this.

i love zumba and i use my app called NOOM WEIGHT LOSS COACH and it says i burn about 800-900 calories when i do zumba. depending on intense i get during the workout. some routines aren't as intense as others.
  12. So you should drink 15min before meal and then nothing during and then how long after, meal and how much exactly??? ZGB

www.fabtofit.Blogspot.com
  13. I guess I'll find out at my first fill in two Weeks huh. ZGB

www.fabtofit.Blogspot.com
  14. I'm two Weeks post OP and I finally slept on my side last night. the side of my port. I didn't feel any pain so I went with it. Now this morning I wake up and I notice the incision where my port is looks like an indention. It looks sunk in. Before my belly looked perfectly round but now you can see and feel an indention where my port is. I'm freaking out. Did I do something wrong??? Did it flip??? ZGB

www.fabtofit.Blogspot.com
  15. Thank you do much for all the advice. I'm glad everything is working as it should be...even if it my hunger. I'm going to stick to good choices and small portions. Hopefully I can keep what I've lost off. ZGB

www.fabtofit.Blogspot.com
  16. I'm just shy of 2wks post band and I'm starting to get that feeling again. That feeling of hunger. It's not that deep desperate hunger but it is a twinge enough to get me eating. Is this normal????? My Breakfast went from 3ounces to now 5ounces. I used to be good on just eating lunch after that and now I need lunch and dinner and sometimes even a snack after. All the meals are still very small portions as well as the snack but I'm concerned this isn't working anymore or I'm doing something wrong. ZGB

www.fabtofit.Blogspot.com
  17. No I don't know what strips are but I don't have those. All I have are my incisions and on top of then the glue to keep then shut, I guess. I didn't want to scrub and I tried peeling but got scared. I'm just gonna let them clear away on their own. Thanks!!! ZGB

www.fabtofit.Blogspot.com
  18. Did the alcohol sting? I'm scared that'll sting but I'll try it. ZGB

www.fabtofit.Blogspot.com
