  1. Hi fellow Dr. Kim patients! How is everyone doing? My surgery is scheduled for August 7th. Almost there!
  2. Hey Ken, I know how to edit my post once sumitted via the website but are we able to edit our posts via the App?
  3. Thanks, you too!!! And happy early birthday! We definitely need to stay in touch. So when is your surgery scheduled with Dr. Kim? I had the endoscopy yesterday at Forest Park Medical and met a lady there that was having surgery by Dr. Kim on the same day as me. It was pretty cool! My 2 week liquid diet starts Monday...ugh.
  4. I had my Endoscopy yesterday and the nurse said the same exact thing to me! I can't tell you how many times people have asked me that question. It used to seriously offend me, now I just smile and tell them thank you and that I am doing it because after a great deal of research my doctor and I feel it is the right decision for me...then leave it at that. That usually gets them to stop. :-)
  5. Welcome! I'm scheduled with Dr. Kim on August 7
  6. I can see the PDF attachment if I view it through the website but I can't see it on my phone. Here are some screen shots....
  7. Yes, I can see the quotes/images above but I cannot open attachments if people add them (like a pdf file).
  8. Hey Alex, I can view attachments via the web, but how do I view attachments via the app? I see a paperclip but it won't let me open anything.
  9. Thanks so much. I will just have her drive me home and not chance it.
  10. Hi there...my endoscopy is scheduled for tomorrow morning. Could someone tell me about how long you were groggy after you were on your way home from the procedure? My friend is taking me there and picking me up but I was wondering if it was safe for me to drive home after I hung out at her house for a few hours.
  11. I saw this post and had to share it with our group (for those of us that are single) ...
  12. Are you viewing this via the VST app or the website? You can see the attachment via the website. I still haven't figured out how to view attachments via the VST app.
  13. The shakes are for the full liquid stage but the ones at the end are for the mushies stage. Man, I'm hungry! lol
  14. Hi Everyone, I received a print out of various recipes from my doctor's office this week and thought I would share them. See attached. Recipes.pdf
  15. I tried the unflavored mixed with crystal light and liked it. I haven't tried the chicken broth yet but I have some. I'll let you know
  16. That's a good idea to put it in the freezer for a little while. Mine tasted watered down too. I used the whole individual packet. I think I'll try putting more ice in it next time to see if that bulks it up some. Have you tried unjury? I bought some of those samples as well and I think it is better.
  17. Do you have a Target near you? My Target carries Muscle Milk in several different flavors. They come in a 4 pack right? I think it was $5.98 for the 4 pack. I ordered the Nectar samples too. Was yours really foamy?
  18. LOL I can't wait to have more energy to keep up with my 15 year old, or at least try to. She wears me out!
  19. Thanks Trust me, it wasn't easy but I figured I had better start with something instead of trying to do everything cold turkey all at once. That's awesome that you have a great support system. My teenage daughter isn't happy with me getting the surgery because she thinks I don't need it. I'm trying my best to be patient and explain to her what the benefits are by my doing this. Deep down I think it just boils down to her being scared about me having the surgery (even though she won't admit that).
