  1. Well let the fun begin for both of us!!!.....
  2. Getting so excited only 5 more days. I'm really hoping that my type II diabetes levels will drop to the point I won't need my medications anymore ( I already came off my insulin when I lost the 44 lbs ahead of time). Well that's pretty much it, just excited....and nervous too.
  3. whoops ....and yes I did the 3 months of dieting and lost a total of 28 pound (total is 44). I have not lost any since my class ended in early April, but I haven't gained any either. I just have to do all liquids the day before.
  4. @ gettinhealthy....I did my classes in Woodland Hills. I kinda waffled at doing the surgery, but soon decided.
  5. I went through the options class ( started Jan 29th)and I'm having surgery this coming monday ( the 25th) at West LA with Dr. Zelada.
  6. Hey....me too!!! I'm having mine on June 25 at Kaiser here in Ca. Say prayers for me too!
  7. I feel it's probably best to start acting (in your head and with what you eat) ahead of time. You know the old quote...walk like a duck, act like a duck.....you might just be a duck. Well we need to start to change our relationship with food now....today...because the surgery can only do so much for you....when the rubber meets the road we are gonna have to make permanant changes. So you have plenty of time to practice and get good at it.
