  6. Surgery went great. A little sore in the ribs because my surgeon said my chest cavity and stomach area was so small but nothing that I can't handle. I pray a speedy recovery for those who had their surgeries yesterday and those to have surgeries soon.
  7. Thanks I was released in Clear Liquids for a day and then mushy and soft foods today. I ended up having a hiatal hernia so that is why the clear liquids yesterday. But soft foods and mushy is his normal release instructions if a person can tolerate it. If not stay on liquids. I am able to tolerate mushy food so that is fine. I received a call from my doctor this morning.

  9. Tomorrow is the beginning of my new happy and healthy life. I want to wish peace and blessings to all those under going surgery with me on this day. I pray that God continues to cover everyone with his grace and mercy. I especially would like to pray for all the surgeons performing these and many other surgeries. I ask that God guides their hands. Thanks everyone for the continued support. I don't think I would have made it through the last two weeks without you. You all are so awesome we are like one big banded family.

I am so ready I feel like I got this liquid diet licked not. I was a little bummed at the numbers on the scale. I lost 8 lbs but thought it seem like more. Oh well I am still pumped. Can not wait for July 11 to get here.
