I think I just had my first stuck episode and Oh Em Gee. Worst pain of my life. It felt like there was a giant boulder on my chest, my back hurt, my arms were tingling and sore. I thought I was having a heart attack or something. Felt like I needed to burp or puke, but nothing came up. I ended up lying on the bathroom floor in a cold sweat in a fetal position. I actually have a pretty high pain tolerance, and I was amazed at how intensely crappy this felt. I could feel the exact moment the food passed through because it was like instant relief. I am going to be chewing my food until it's liquid because I am NEVER going through this again!!!

Congrats!!! I was banded today, too. So far so good, but WOW, the bloating!

Thanks you guys! I feel better already, lol. I will try doing 3 shakes tomorrow & see if that makes a difference!

I have been on my Pre-op diet for 6 days now and have only lost 5 pounds!! I have faithfully followed the 2 shakes/1 Lean Cuisine rule and I am so disappointed and pissed off and hungry I could scream! I am having surgery on Thursday and am supposed to be down 5 more pounds by then. How in the heck is that going to happen? Why am I not losing more weight when I'm doing everything I'm supposed to be doing? I'm so upset right now.

Me! Just found out I was approved & am scheduled for July 5th!! I'm so excited!

Hi, new here and totally new to everything about the lap band! I was wondering if anyone was familiar with Premera (Microsoft) and their approval process? I have a BMI of about 40. What do they require to get approved, how long does it take, etc. Thanks for any info! Sarah
