  2. Disney World. There are healthy items on a child's menu. Some things might need to be modified a bit, but it's the idea of smaller portions that make it worthwhile to me. When at Disney I certainly can't take half of my adult meal home. Plus, any way to save costs appeals to me!
  3. Just found out something really good. My family and I are heading to Disney soon. If people get a card from their doctor re gastric surgery, they can qualify for kids' food rates at buffets and allows people to order off the kid's menu at other places. I called my doctor's office and they said yes it was true. So keep that in mind if you're heading there!
  4. I went to my dr.s the other day for my 2 week post op. I "cheated" and took Motrin 1 week out due to severe cramps. She laughed at my "confession" when I told her and said it was fine. She said take them if I feel I really need them, just in moderation. She said it wasn't so bad for sleeve patients as gastric bypass. I couldn't handle the cramps! So, check with your dr. b/c it might be fine.
  5. You look great! Good for you.
  6. I was low bmi with only high blood pressure. It's been documented for years. I was worried, too but no problems with the insurance at all.
  7. I was low bmi, too. I was worried I wouldn't get approved, but I did. I bet you will be fine.

  10. My surgery date is July 10. Like everyone else I have so many feelings right now. But, I have lost 7 pounds from this pre op diet!
  11. I'm on day 3 per-op. I'm so hungry, too. I find it difficult that others in the house can eat (and of course should!) but it makes this pre-op thing even harder. I've been very grumpy with my family.
