  1. At MinaT- if u don't mind me asking, why were u in the hospital for 5 days? My surgeon said I would go home the day after surgery.
  2. I am in the same boat. My hair fell out after I had my daughter who is now 8 yrs old. Now my hair is very thin. I am scared to death about hair loss, as I might become bald if I lose more after the surgery. This is the only thing holding me back from having the surgery. I started taking b complex and biotin 2 weeks ago to try to counter act the hair loss from surgery. I am most likely going to be sleeved in September.
  3. Funny u say that because I actually had an appointment with my primary care physician this morning about that. I am not sleeved yet. Scheduled in September, as right now I'm going through the insurance requirements. I brought up the complications risk. He made a good point by telling me you can't compare your condition to anyone else's. For example, I am a 5'1 female, 34 years old who is 90 pounds overweight. I have no other health issues. No diabetes, no heart disease, not even high blood pressure. I'm just fat! Chances of me having a complication are small due to the fact I'm in good health. Now take someone who is severely obese, compound that with diabetes, heart disease, and or other medical conditions. Their chances of a complication are much greater than mine. The healthier you start out, the better chances of less/ or zero complications.
