  1. Just another guy checking in. I get sleeved next week. I am 5' 10" and 275. The only thing that makes me unique is that I travel all over the world all the time. It sounds glamorous, but I have been averaging a trip around the world once a month for the past 5 years, and it has damn near killed me. I am taking a couple months off this summer to get myself on a new path. I can relate to the seat belt extender issue. It is a tight squeeze for me in a bunch of coach seats.
  2. This diet is brutal, but it is the first time I ever lost 12lbs in 5 days. I guess it works.
  3. I am on day 5. I feel normal for the first time since I started. I would still love a piece of real food. I put some tabasco in the tomato soup and that helped. I am the family cook, so I thought nothing of going to the grocery store for the family today. It was a bad idea.
  4. This may sound crazy but look for a dentist specializing in sleep apnea. The FDA has approved a dental appliance called TAP 3 for severe OSA. It is very easy to get used to. More than 90 percent of people who try these keep them, compared to 50 percent with CPAP. the only problem is that it is hard to get insurance to pay. It has. A Dental Code and it is used for a medical condition. That creates havoc with our insurance systems. I paid cash and would do it again.
