I am a 34yr old mother of a four yr old and wife of a seven yr old..LOL, in reality wife of a 35 yr old . Husband also a big guy weighing over 400lbs and am extreamely concerned. I have been like this my whole life. My husband was a wrestler in high school so he was once thinner. Then college pressure and depression set in...and so did the weight. He is not actively trying to lose weight and I have never been under 265lbs. I dont want bad habits like this kick in with my little boy. Were both had Gastric Banding in 2008 within very little succes. So I am trying to be the strong one in them house. I want to be the example to show that it can work. I am dealing within relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis plus a history of thyroid cancer. So I need to do this for my son...to be around for him ask he grows. But my husband keeps telling me how much I will have to exercise. I do not fear the surgery but the process afterwards. I can only hope and pray that this works.
