I had my surgery in Mexico by Dr. Lopez. The best decision I ever made... You won't regret it.

You don't go to the "bad" areas at home, so you won't go to the bad areas in Mexico. You know that you need help losing weight, PLEASE don't let someone make you feel bad about having this surgery. If it's cheating, than so is going to the gym, taking diet pills and having Lipo...... Does this person use "age defying" creams? Wouldn't that be cheating too?? People like that have no idea what it's like to struggle with their weight....

That's wonderful. I've been eating solid food for awhile. But I'm still having problems getting in all my water and protein.....

Here's a thought about the violence in Mexico, how much violence is in America?? I'm married to a cop and I would say that it's probably about the same, but you don't go to those bad areas where you live. You won't be in the bad areas in Mexico. That would be bad for business....

There's a store front that anyone can go to a buy a Protein shake. They make all different kinds of flavors. They also do a wellness evaluation. They stick some electrode on your hands and feet. It tells you your BMI, your muscle mass, fat mass and it will tell you what your weight should be. My goal is to be 135, but that evaluation said that I already have 133lbs of muscle mass and that I should be 168 at my lowest!! REALLY?? Has anyone tried this wellness evaluation? I don't know if nut's do this at their office or maybe your dr does it. PS. I like their scale better, said I was 4 pounds light than what my home scale says....

I've thought about doing some face stuff also. I'm sure once I lose 100 plus pounds something will have to be lifted on my face too...

I had my surgery in Mexico on September 21. My husband didn't tell his parents until after I left for Mexico. My husband didn't tell them not to tell EVERYONE and there MOTHER!!! So I'm a little perturbed by that.. I told my sister (which I KNEW I shouldn't have) so today I get a call from my aunt asking me 50 million questions. When she talks to me, it's like I'm STOOPID. Granted she is a nurse, married to an ER doctor, but d@mn, I can read and research too!! Why can't people keep their mouths SHUT??!?! Sorry for the ranting and raving....

I use ACT mouth wash for dry mouth. Seems to help.

I've tried the Unjury chocolate protein recently and it tasted pretty good.

There are places in Mexico that do that along with plastics. The place I've been looking at is in Costa Rica. The website is http://arrivacostarica.com. You can have your reconstructive surgery and dental done all at once and I like their recovery hotel. I can't wait until I lose all my weight and can go for my surgery..

This is my fear too. Especially since I'm not able to get all my protein in everyday.

The only time I get sick is because I overeat and/or eat to fast. It's not pleasant, but not like if you have a virus....

You can choose a doctor, but I think they are in the same practice.

I've looked into D.R. also, but this place in C.R. has a recovery place that I'm very impressed with too.
