@iegle. I think your are doing great. When I was banded I has those same 5 to 10 pounds I played with and being very carb sensitive myself I feel you. Buy these ladies are all right. We just make better choice and the sleeve will help us get there.

Hello welcome. And yes a lot of us. Have. Go to band to sleeve revision . I was sleeved 2 and half weeks ago had my band for 4 years. I did keep weight off. Only 30/35. But not happy with it. The sleeve is going well in recovery phase just like we did band. Welcome and Check out that thread.

Nope day 5 was not easy I was just home and in pain and no energy to go no where. Yes some are lucky and have it easier but others don't . And you are not alone we question on those hard days. Why. Why couldn't I just do it on my own. And lefts face it we can't. So hang in there. It will get better

@ clk. Prilosec was heavenly !!! No heartburn what so ever since next day I started. Thank you !!! Still on it twice a day I am tempted to reduce dose but its ok lol I am enjoying this

I thought I was the only one. I have heard some say it bothers them. But I actually enjoy it. It is like I am savoring it. My little one told me I was creeping her out lol I also enjoy the smells too . Maybe we are weird lol

Where my port was removed has a huge indentation. And I thought same thing , man they really went to town stiching lol

Just got the prilosec at Walmart tablet form. Lolls duable

First two days where like that for me then things for way better. It's all true day by day and things get better.

All the ones I see even generic are capsules. yucky. Which ones did you take that where pills. Cheri

Awe Cheri thank you for posting. Yes I am having issues with heartburn. doctor did put me on Pepcid when I said was not working he. Said since I already had it so to double it up. Or change to Prilosec cuZ it works better and gavescon as needed in between. But dumb me forgot to ask if ok to swallooww or If I had to open it up. I will call him today. I posted that question here somewhere but no response yet. You are so right life would be so less complicated with out this. It has gotten better. And I will change to Prilosec as soon as get a response about swallowing a cap. Thank you

I wonder how long will take to heal .

I got sleeved on the 5 th i am a band revision. Honestly going well other than Bad heartburn. I did not have it before. For most it goes away after a couple months , hope I am one of lucky ones. Was very weak on clear liquids and now way way better on full liquids. . Minimal pain maybe just with certain movements and mainly on my removal of Port. Lost 8 since morning of surgery and since started full liquids on Thursday scale has not moved and I am ok with that. .

Oh my gosh so sorry. My heartburn is horrible but since I started full liquids at least my energy came back a bit.
