  1. Thank you for the recommendations.. I think I will check out that one Erie since its not to far.. Some also mentioned to check around Ohio state university hospital so I guess when I'm back I will definitely find someone to meet with.
  2. Yes I did speak with my doctor he said he didn't know anyone in Ohio but for me to look around.
  3. Anyone know of any doctors that take patients from another state? Moving to Ohio and will need a doctor
  4. Thank you. I hope that I am getting close I would really like to see a return on this investment for my health. The small victories are nice with losing inches. But that number on the scale is not getting lower. Yea I think today I will definitely take your advice into maybe holding off on the food. Maybe another day. I do notice tightness in the morning too.. Once I drink coffee I am a little looser.
  5. Hi everyone I have a question. I had my surgery on June 4th starting weight was 264 it has been 4 months and I have only dropped to 244. Ire entry had my 3rd fill yesterday. Before I left the doctors office I needed them to take some out because I couldn't swallow Water let alone my on saliva. I actually threw up a little in the doctors office. So I had my doctor take some out and I felt better instantly. Anyways it's been 4 months little frustrated that I see all these individuals having these huge successes and I am not seeing anything. Can anyone let me know how do you know if you're starting to feel restriction? Today I had a little yogurt and practically felt it go down my stomach and come right back up.. Not sure if I should continue liquids today till I feel a little more comfortable. Be aide the two bites I did have did not feel good going down. Is this how restrictions could feel. Also a lot of people say signs of burping or hiccups are signs that let you know you're full. Well since surgery I wake up burping a d every now and then hiccups. Is this normal? Thanks guys just nee some motivation. Really have no one to talk to about this.
  6. No as I only ate two pieces. That we're cut. My doctor did approve chicken salad. So I figured that wouldn't do much harm. Obviously that wasn't the best choice.
  7. Hey guys glad to know I am not alone on this hunger journey. Today I had some poached eggs and they kept me full till now. Not hungry a bit. I have lost 12 pounds since June 4 th when I was banded. But I have not lost any since the first week. A little frustrating. Is anyone else on a standstill with weight loss? The first 12 pounds I lost within the first 5 days. I also started eating mushed foods earlier this week. I did try a piece of grilled chicken but only managed to eat two pieces before I was in pain. Took a couple of hours for the pain to go away. But it eventually did.
  8. Banded on Monday June 4th 2012. Super hungry.. Lol have been following the diet but need a better substitute for protein. I am currently taking the Kellogg's special k boost drinks and they do a great job initially but I am left hungry still. also I know the gas is a part of the healing process but it's a little out of hand. Gas x chews do not work. I called my doctor today and he recommended warm prune juice and milk of magnesia. Has anyone done this? What were your results.. Ps I have been craving pizza since Monday.. Ahhh what to do lol. Thanks huys
