Thanks everyone!!!! It feels so great to hop on the scale and not cry :-). Who would have ever thought "we" would enjoy getting on the scale!!!

I saw the surgeon yesterday and I am officially down 30 pounds!!! He said he is very happy with my progress and thinks I will continue to do great. Tonight I am going out to dinner with 13 of my favorite girlfriends and I splurged and bought myself a cute new dress :-). I know I will be too small for it soon, but damn it feels good to buy a smaller size!!

If you like ranch dressing mix the powder hidden valley packet in non fat plain Greek yogurt and you have ranch dressing! My nutritionist told me about it and it taste wonderful!!

I went to Kohl's today to get my boys something and there was a really cute dress on clearance in the "regular" section for $18 and I had a 30% off coupon so I bought it even though it was a XL. I figured I am only 2.5 weeks post op it will fit one day. I just tried it on and it fit!!! The best part when I took it off I saw there was a zipper, I didn't even need it!!!! Now that was a feeling I have been waiting for!!

I told everyone! I have had the most amazing support ever! I did not want to think of lies or excuses why I can't eat, drink and why I am dropping so much weight. I didn't want people to think I had cancer or something else. You have to make te decision yourself. If people are negative then I know they are not true friends and not worth my time. So far I have not had a single person be negative

I just finished a 8.43 bike ride!! It felt great to get out and do something. I almost burned all the calories I took in today so I am having a double Protein shake before I go to bed.
I have lost 6 lbs this week so I am 20 lbs lighter since surgery. I have to go back to work Wednesday so I would love to lose another 7 or 8.

My guidelines were 2 weeks. Your stomach can actually tighten somewhat vigorously when you're aroused, and full on contract during orgasm. Also, when your uterus contracts during orgasm (or TOM, or whatever) your body can trigger the release of chemicals (technically they're fatty acids) that can do some weird things to your GI system (including your stomach). E.g. lots of females have to poop when their period starts, or get really bad gas.
I always feel a little like Debbie Downer when I have to advise the newly post-op to really try and wait at least the two weeks, but it's for an actual reason, not just because I want to...block.

What is a slider food?

Went to Dr. And NUT yesterday and got great news all around! Lost 12 lbs!! So from Jan. To now I am down 24 lbs!!! They pulled my drain, which was the weirdest feeling ever! I have been moved up to a regular (ish) diet. No red meats, raw fruits or veggies, but I can eat real food instead of blended!! I also got the okay to have a latte, which I am enjoying as I type.
For all of you having a rough time, hang in there all crappy days will pass. I have some really blue days where all I want to do is cry and then I weigh myself and I smile! Remember why we are doing this, to make us MORE healthy!!

I love that idea! I keep a big container of the powder around that I get from Sams! I love the flavor of the dressing but knew after surgery their was no way I could have it lol. Thanks for the post
