dont know how but i lost 4lbs since this post. the liquid diet lasted 1 day so i switched to lo carb. its working. i also dedicated myself to 20 min on the treadmill after work. last night was the first night i willdo it again tonight. yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

wow thank you guys soooooooooo much. i have been replacing 2 meals aday and eaating sugar free Jello and drinking lots of cyrstal light and 64 oz of Water. i cant do to much of the sugar free stuff it makes my tummy hurt (the sugar alchols ). i did cheat my two off days. i will try again tomorrow. my biggesest challange is my shakes. i driknk primer thats what my doc said to drink. its only 160 cal i stay ungry by the time i get to a real meal i eat like a savage. i will give it a go tomorrow and i will start walking after work on the treadmill at least 20 min. you guys are right i can do this ish webchick please follow me you gave me a lot of good pointers. everyone did thank you guys so much

august 13th dr zelada. now the catch is i need to be at my goal wieght for the surgery buy august 2nd. i can do this. omg i have to get on the grind like right now for real.

i started with kaiser in dec and i am now waiting for my surgery date. one correcrtion kaiser will not do lap band because that one is a problem. 12 weeks was so fun and long at the same time. i like kaiser because they dont just give the surgery you go through a lot of hoops. i met my surgeion dr zelada he is at west la. nice guy and a lot of ppl say good things about him. now if they can just call me with my dang surgery date

day three of pre op

its a thin line for me. i guess im stuck in the world of eating every 2 to 3 hrs small meals to keep your metabolism going. but hey i lost a lb this week. yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I HEAR YOU. BUT DIETS AND FAST ARE THE REASONS WE ARE WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW. WHAT I MEAN BY SMALLER AND CONTROL WELL FOR ME IS THE TOOL WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO OVEREAT. AND I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF HEAD HUNGER TILL I GOT ON THESE FOROUMS. I STRONGLY BELIEVE IN THE SLEEVE AND THAT IT WILL WORK FOR ME. THE PRE OP DIET IS A DIET POINT BLANK AND MOST OF US ARE FAT BECAUSE WE HAVE DONE ONE DIET AFTER ANOTHER. I DO FEEL THAT THE MIND IS POWERFUL BUT THAT NEW TOOL WONT ALLOW YOU TO DO THAT. UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY THAT WEEK. I KNOW FOR MYSELF I DONT LIKE TO VOMIT SO I WILL NOT EAT PAST THAT FULL STAGE. AND I DKNOW DRINKING ALL THAT Water AND TRING TO GET THE OTHER liquids IN I WILL NOT THINK ABOUT HUNGER.. DONT GET ME WRONG I TINK YOU SHOULD LOSE WEIGHT IF THE DOC TELLS YOU I KNOW I AM. AND I DO THINK YOU WILL BE READY WHEN YOU GET THE NEW STOMACH BECAUSE ITS SMALLER AND CANT HANDLE MUCH. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERANCE HERE YOU KNOW. my surgeon told me that the big one will hurt more thats the one they pulled the stomach out of. so he said i will have more pain on the right

the after taste i couldnt handle that sugar free taste. priemer is good to me. i dont know what i will drink after surgery though

I THINK AFTER SURGERY IT IS DIFFERANT RIGHT NOW ARE TUMMYS ARE NORMAL SIZE AND WANTS TO BE FULL. I BELIEVE I CAN STICK TO LIQUID AFTER SURGERY BECAUSE OF MY NEW SMALLER TUMMY.

you guys are awesome. thank you so much my co workers are also preaching to me right now because i cant stick to a workout. i love the support. i wont eat the cheeseburger. i dont have my surgery date yet just getting a headstart. hopefully day three will feel better.

chitown i am not feeling this at all. im at work and i am cranky. i feel depressed. ive been taught not to starve yourslef. i am starving myself right now. my doc told me to get premire shakes thats only 180 cal even though 30 grams of protien but that is notihing something has to give. i replace two meals a day.
