  1. Has anyone who's been sleeved noticed that they are now a little more sensitive to milk products? I'm only a week and a half out but I seem to get gassy if I drink a shake with milk or have a pudding with milk. I think I remember hearing that you might be lactose intolerant after surgery but I thought it was only supposed to be temporary? Just curious if anyone else has experienced this and if so, how long did it last? I hope it doesn't last cause I don't know what I'll eat if I can't have cheese or dairy! haha!
  2. For those of you who've already been sleeved, as your incisions healed did anyone get a knot like thing under any of them? I was sleeved July 10th and my incisions have been doing great but I just noticed a knot under the skin right above the biggest incision where they took my stomach out. Its still the most tender of all my incisions...
  3. Hey April, I sent you a friend request too. Can you add me to the FB July group! Thanks!
  4. I'm July 10th too! What is everyone else doing to prepare! I'm very nervous!! Never had surgery before... haven't even broken a bone! I'm up for the challenge, and excited to start seeing results!
  5. My surgery is July 10th too! Good Luck! I'm nervous! You'll have to keep me posted on your experience and progress!
  6. I just got my surgery date of July 10th. I'm very excited, but very nervous for the recovery, and learning how to eat again. I wanted to get some input on what I should go ahead and stock my kitchen with now, before surgery so I have everything I need when I get home from the hospital. My doctor does mostly outpatient surgery so they expect me to be home that same evening. Any tools or medicines, or liquid foods that you found extremely good to have on hand for that first week or twor? Any words of advice would be appreciated!
