  1. Hello May Bandsters, Just wanted to share with everyone I got banded yesterday and everthing went great. I am sore which is normal, but it is not bad. I got really nervous when they were getting me ready for surgery, but it was over before I knew it. So good luck too all you who are getting banded in May. And it really is not bad.
  2. I NEVER HAD SURGERY EITHER AND I AM NERVOUS AS WELL, BUT I FIGURE IT WILL BE WORTH IT IN THE LONG RUN. JUST THINK POSITIVE...THAT IS WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO. BAND DATE 5/23/07
  3. Hello I am new to this site, but I am getting banded on May 23rd also. And I have to pay out of pocket too. I go in tomorrow for my Pre Op. And I guess it will be all down hill from there...I cannot wait. Well just wanted to wish every one luck !!
  4. Hello I am new to this site. Congrats on your surgery. I have my surgery booked as well for May 23rd. I am on my 5th day of liquids and I have 9 days left to go:rolleyes. Not sure if you have to do 2 weeks of liquids or not. Well I wish you luck...I am counting down my days.
  5. My first appointment is March 22nd and I can't wait. I wish I could have gotten in sooner, but every thing happens for a reason. I would have loved to get the process going like 3 weeks ago, but work pushed me back. So now I will probably not be able to get the surgery done as soon as I wanted. So any how moving on ... it sounds like a lot of shit to have to do before you can get this surgery. It makes me think twice, but I really need to just set my mind and go for it. Once I start going to all the appointments and figure out exactly what I have to do it may not seem that bad.
