Hi I'm 19 too I felt the same way it's hard because I have friends that are really there and I ave friends that are like your not loosing the weight your surgery is but they congratulate me any way....

I get the feeling I decided to introduce myself to foods slow I'm on my third week but I started eating "regular foods last week I would eat very soft chewable foods like tuna canned chicken yogurt cottage cheese but now I'm eating stuff like baked fish mushrooms potatoes and so on I would definite be careful when eating tho I've gotten a piece of turkey stuck not a good feeling chew chew chew

I'm. Still grateful that I can get the surgery I'm super excited now even though its a far time from May Starting my countdown

I'm hoping so I'm really excited so I can say ....I'm done lets start loosing this weight

May 21st is mine I'm so excited I feel like I'm going to be reborn again

Anyone else has may surgery.....they called this morning and Surprise I was approved but then she said my surgery date was May 21 I was a little shocked Its a lil far out since it's March still. But I'm happy to be getting surgery so that's a blessing

Is it me or does whey protien smell and taste pretty disgusting. I recently bought isopure alpine punch and threw up because the smell of the protein and I thought It was the drink but when I tried another protein product it also had a weird tasted to me sort of like a cleaning solution taste and not a powdery taste any suggestions if someone has also went through this please help!!!!
