  1. I am 65 and have had no problems with my Lapband. Surgery was nothing. Took no pain meds and back to my normal routine the next day. You cannot feel the band at all. I was banded in Feb. and have lost 68 lbs.
  2. I am 65 and had no problems after my surgery at all. Took no pain pills and was at full function the next day. Getting " stickies" is awful but usually is because of something I've done wrong. Such as eating too fast, eating food which is too dry, or not chewing really well. I have lost 68 lbs total and am happy with that. I've never felt better.

  4. I know exactly how you feel. I am a stress eater also. That's the first thi ng I think of when I need comfort is food. I got mt Lapband in February and even now I fight that urge a lot. LB certainly makes it easier not to go really overboard with the stress eating but I still fight the battle every day.
