Hi Katie, How are you doing? My word. No fun!!! Everyone keeps telling me how great it will be once the gallbladder is out. I am not interested in surgery, but sounds like I have to have at least one for my gallbladder. Did your kidney stones pass on there own? Or did you need them to be broken down? What homeopathic remedy did you use? See a naturopath? Best, Sannah

Oh my goodness!! Yes it's good news!! It's a bit overwhelming, because there are SO many options!! I have been stocking to what I know, rather than trying too much new stuff. I did have a piece string cheese. It was tasty!!! Best, Sannah

Hi!! I hope your day has been good!!! I love that your son is a nerd!! Fungus!! That is so great!!! Seems like his neediness is challenging at times!! Oh boy!!! 16 years old. Everyone tells me the teenage years are hard and to be prepared. What's your opinion? As Venla is walking and talking her personality is blooming. It's so fun to see!!! I am waiting for more lab results. I had to do more labs this am. I have to call back Monday. Until then I am on Dalaudid and all the anti nausea meds. Dalaudid works real good, better than Vicodin and it doesn't make me feel or appear drugged up. Dalaudid doesn't even make me sleepy. I am at least resting comfortably. We didn't celebrate the holidays with my in-laws because I was hospitalized. We are supposed to leave Sunday to see everyone and celebrate. My hubby keeps telling me we should cancel. I feel like we should go as long as I can manage my pain. My hubby's grandma is 94. Each day is a big deal, as she is getting to be so old. All the pain and symptoms are from the gall and kidney stones. I hope your having a great weekend. Best, Sannah

Hello!! How is your evening going? The pain is very intense. I broke down and started taking pain medicine. I don't like using or needing medicine. But If I don't I can't sit or lay and feel comfortable. I need medicine to help me function. I believe one kidney stone is passing. Dalaudid is taking the edge off the pain. I am tolerating puréed foods. But it's hard to eat, the pain makes it hard to want to eat. I go back tomorrow for more testing. I hope to share positive news soon!!! Best, Sannah

Hello all, How are you doing? I hope you're doing great!!! I wanted to write back to each of you, but currently feeling super miserable. I am back at the hospital for an upper GI and to get my kidney function checked out. I am taking pain medicine and meds to stop the nausea and vomiting. They are barely taking the edge off. I just got results from the hida and ct. Good news is that I don't have a leak or abscess. I am so happy for this!!! But my gallbladder isn't really functioning. It jas to come out. Also both my right and left kidneys have stones. At least one stone isn't obstructing the kidney. All three doctors are doing to talk and one will call me first thing in the am with a plan. Looks like I need to find a nephrologist to help with the stones. I am having alot of mixed emotions. So HAPPY to not have a leak. But so bummed and frustrated with needing gallbladder surgery. Kidney stones. Hopefully they are all small enough that I can pass them alone and not need surgery on my kidneys too. I know there is a silver lining and that I will find it. But this is hard news to take. I want so badly to be healthy and not need medical intervention. It bothers me to keep putting my support system through all of this. I also don't want to endure anymore. Thank you everyone for messaging me. I am happy when i read the messages of support abs all your kindness.

Well today they said they aren't sure if its a gallbaldder. I have to have a ct scan to see if I have another leak or they missed anything that is potentially life threatening. Then some other type of examination where they will inject several different substances and see how my liver and gallbladder fiction. It takes 180 minutes. I don't recall what it's called. I feel scared. But also don't want to worry until I need to.
