My sugery went great. I am up and moving around. I have my follow up on Wednesday August 1, 2012.

My surgery went great. I have my follow up on Wednesday. The pain was not bad at all. I only took the pain meds once on Tuesday (the day of the sugery) and once on Wednesday. I have not had any pain since then. Just gas.

My surgery date is July 24. I have mixed emotions excitement, anxious, scared, worry. But I am glad to be finally here. I cannot wait to get through the surgery so that I can start my new life. I was put on the Atkins diet for 1 week to help decrease my liver. I think that is why I am a little scared. I read where some were put on liquid diet. I am worried that I don’t shrink my liver enough. I am told the liquid diet will be post-op.

I was worried about the port because my skin Keloid. But I spoke to my dr and i am find now.

My surgery is scheduled on July 24 at 9:30am. I will be at the hosptial at 7am. Here is to a brand new me.

Thank you for you offer to help. I will ask a lot of questions. I am so worried about the port. That was my hold up three years ago.

Hello, I am pre-op. My stomach is turning as I go through all the websites and posts about the lap band surgery. I started this journey three years ago. I went to the seminar and learn about the lap band. I scheduled my psych evaluation, but did not go through the surgery because I was not sure this was the best decision for me. There is so much to learn about this surgery and so much to change. I am ready for the change, but still kind of worried. Here is to a brand new me. My decision is made. No turning back.
