  1. Yes it Does get better! Just try and focus on healing and learning as much as possible about banding and nutrition as you can right now. Don't worry about the scale at this stage. Help is on the way and you just need to Endure this particular phase the healthiest way you can. I'm also a big believer of writing everything down and taking the food journal in at appointment time so my team can see where I'm actually at. Try not to look at snacking as Misbehavior...but rather as clues to where you need to adjust your overall program. You really don't need the head-trip on top of the emotional and physical adjustment you're experiencing right now.
  2. No I haven't had any trouble with the capsules when taken with a sip or two of water.
  3. Hi I was banded 4/6/12 and also noticed the nice weight drops then little plateaus. I'm told it very normal and a great start.
  4. Hi... my surgery date was 4/6/12. And I thought it was post-op gas too....but alas tis still going strong...if not even more so. I've been advised that it's because of the significant diet change which causes an imbalance in the good bacteria of the digestive system. Gas ex has helped - and I've begun taking Probiotic Acidophilus to support my digestive health. This is day three on those two things and there's a significant improvement...so I am hopeful.
