  3. Hey all! I will be moving to Santa Barbara shortly after getting sleeved. Does anyone know of any sleeve support groups?

  5. I've been working in optics for 6 yrs (leaving as soon as I get sleeved for a better job.). Diabetes and high BP play a major role in vision. Have seen patients have major Rx changes within 24 hrs simply bc their sugar was not regulated. I can definitely see how the sleeve could help

  14. I'm a diet mountain dew addict. Seriously, I drink like 10 a day. This might be harder than smoking
  15. I have been able to lose weight quickly in the past (just not able to keep it off hence the reason for surgery) by taking phenternine and eating like 1000 cals a day
  16. No would not be driving myself. My mother is flying in to be with me and will drive. I just don't know where I wld be most comfy my room or my childhood room at my dads
  17. I just looked this up too. I WILL be ordering this too. I stepped on my scale this morning for the first time in months and it wont weigh me. I so wanted to cry. But then I said to myself "now self your about to be sleeved and this will not be a problem ever again.". Well my pep talk still didn't make me feel much better but oh well.
  18. I'm trying to decide where to recover. I am considering going to my hometown which will be about a 6 hour car ride from the hospital. What are you guys' thoughts? I can always recover at my own apartment which is about 1 hr 45m away but really don't have as much of a support system. Any advice from the post sleevers?
  19. I'm the only overweight person in my family on either side. My mother is extremely supportive both financially and emotionally. My father on the other hand doesn't want me to have it. I know he will come around.
