  1. I know how u feel Aummie! I was up a couple lbs yesterday but now coming off. I am having tomato soup jello pudding broth and crystal light so far. Everything seems to settle pretty well. I'm not hungry but trying to stay hydrated! Good luck everyone!
  2. Did anyone else have side pain? I think its gas, not anything serious and I talked with dr office and they didnt seem too worried. I think I have read about this a few times on here but I'm a worry wart! Also, they gave me permission to switch to children's tylenol if I want but didnt tell me dosage- any ideas? I dont think i need full strength pain meds but just a little something to help. And lastly, dr office said I could boat this weekend just not lift anything or get incisions wet which is what I expected, does that sound right? My doctor seems to be very liberal compared to most, no pre op diet change whatsoever and really no other rules. Super excited to start losing.
  3. Good to hear, I'm two days out and just saw a drop last night. Yesterday morning I was up 2 lbs but figure it was from iv fluids. now to keep hydrated! So come on weight loss! Good luck to everyone else!!! Its going to get exciting now!
  4. Thanks Patty- today is a much better day lots of nausea yesterday. Having my first sips of Lipton chic noodle soup sans the noodles and only broth but sounds better than saying I'm having an ounce of broth!

  9. I was banded this morning. Yes it is like a stitch from running. Trying to use breathing thing every half hour or so. Have a headache but guessing lack of caffeine!
  10. Mine too! I had no per op diet at all. I even double checked today and the dr office said to just eat light.
  11. I'm June 5th too! Cant get here soon enough! My doctor didnt tell me to do any special pre op diet, just to get my pre op physical? Hope I'm not missing something! Good luck, there are a lot of us in June!
  12. Hi! I just found out this week that my lap band surgery was approved by my insurance company on a "fast track" program and I wouldnt have to wait the regular 6 months! I had an idea from the dr's office it might be so they had scheduled my surgery for June 5! I'm excited, scared and ready for it to be June 4! Biggest worries are learning to eat slower and not being able to have occasional drink but I will power through it. My goal is to be running a 5k by next spring!
