I'd give it a 20 on a scale of 1-10. I gambled with my life and rolled a winner (so far)! I was given less than a year to live because of co-morbidities just about a year ago. I think I may just outlive that prediction if the Lord is willing and the creek don't rise.

If you did not get it yet...things that got me thru clear liq stage:
Swansons beef and chicken broth 50% less sosium, no MSG
Crystal light. I like the iced tea, lemonade and fruit punch. Mojito nasty.
    sugar free popsicles
    Sugar free Jello citrus flavors
Apple jice, no more than 3-4 ounces a day, no sugar added. I diluted with a little Water.
I then added Protein shakes, 100% whey Pure Protein brand at Target, 2lbs powder, only $20. Like choc the best, then vanilla. Also have the Lean powder from Smother King in vanilla, tastes like cake batter. I alternate.
I initially started with Boost High Protein choc pre prepared in bottle bc not as thick, less air, then after 2 days, started making my own.
    Next added V-8, liquid Danactive
Finally week 3, 2 tbl spoons of hummus once a day
It was helpful to have cups from 1-4 ounce in size. I continue to use them so I sip and do not gulp. Use a teacup for my broth.
Good luck! Very excited for you.

If you are ready mentally and have your post op supplies, please try to focus on the future. No sense in stressing yourself out. The procedure is so routine now and if you follow post up care instructions, you should be fine. Think of all the positive things just around the corner. I am a big baby and wad not that nervous. Once they start the IV, your cares go out the wondow.
They give you meds for pain and nausea. I wish you a successful procedure as mine was. One night of pain...just push the putton!

I get professional massages at least once a month. It helps detox the body, helps with healing, stress, circulation and just feels great.
In the 60s, my mother's doctor told her to uses a wooden rolling pin, yep as in a kitchen tool. It will not help you lose weight but it helps with circulation and does smooth out those bumps. Roll away!

Sleeve done Fri May 11th, 2012 by Dr. Mark Dominguez in Louisiana. So far all is well and much better than I anticipated, so I could not be more pleased.
I was 240 at time of surgery and have 100 pounds to lose to get to goal. Last Summer I weighed about 275 and felt horrible. Through doctor visits and tests learned I am insulin resistant and began my own lifestyle changes resulting in some weight loss. This along with high blood pressure, asthma and other health risks led me to the sleeve. I can see already, this was a wise choice. Reading through posts on this forum helped me to prepare. Hopefully my experiences, help someone else.
