  1. the myoplex is powder form or liquid both are good, i like the chocolate. Just to get extra calcium i add it to silk soy milk and its really good. It is low in calories too only 150 cals for two scoops of the powder. Also Pure protein in the cans at the vitamin shoppe are good too. Avoid the muscle milk omg it is NASTY..... i suggest getting biotin pills also for your hair you will be losing some. I lost ALOT ;( it is part of the side affects of the "malnutrition" we sleevers get. When did you have your surgery? I had mine in December on the 28th and im down 75lbs woot woot!!! lol long way to go but we can do it together.
  2. it will get better i promise. I felt the same way after surgery i was so sick from the drugs during surgery and eating is a huge challenge i was very tired but after anestesia thats pretty common, just stay focused on your goals and in time it will get better. Sip on water all day long get a baby spoon and a 4 ounce container when your able to eat foods again they will help keep you from over eating remember small bites and chew chew chew slowly very slowly
  3. Myoplex from the vitamin shoppe is really good also total lean from GNC is very good. the protien bullets are horrible ugh. good luck you can do it
  4. FYI protein bullets will help you get your protein you can buy them at the vitamin shoppe and GNC but beware they don't taste that great but small amount. Expect your hair to thin drastically it's part of WLS (weight loss surgery) get your protein in good luck
  5. before surgery Last month Before surgery The night before surgery One month after surgery 2nd month after surgery 2nd month after surgery My first day back to work Before surgery I weighed in at 401 lbs I lost 16lbs on the 7day liquid diet before surgery. Today is May 13, 2012 and weighing in at 330lbs. My goal weight is 140 and when I reach it I'm having a 360• body lift btw I fired my nutritionist for telling me I couldn't reach my goals of 140lbs.... Your fired!!!!!
  6. Good for you I got rid of my winter stuff
  7. Eating is not as fun lol but I've found what helps me is a small 4 ounce container and baby cutlery yes baby cutlery. Small bites slowly helps to not feel so miserable. Certain foods no longer agree with me but in the end they don't taste as good as being skinny will. Agree eating is not as fun as it use to be but look at the outcome
  8. If it helps motivate you at all I've lost 75lbs sense December 28 you can do it
  9. Btw your last day to eat get your favorite foods and enjoy trust me
  10. Don't cheat you can do it!!! It's hard the first couple of days but do it you'll be glad you did. I lost 16lbs in 7 days on my liquid diet and was thrilled. When you have the surgery they put a retractor over your liver to pull it up so you must shrink it as much as possible. If you cheat now you'll cheat after surgery DON'T DO IT! Be strong
  11. I'm not sure why the pics aren't showing
  12. lol thanks and good for you congrats. keep up the good work
  13. Purposely wanting a bad pic as a reminder to not go here ever again. This was the day before surgery. Lost 16lbs preop 7 day diet Clear liquids Side view ;( weighing in at 401lbs day before surgery 30 days after surgery. 38lbs down 3 months after surgery Month 4 and 75lbs down. Long way to go!!!!
  14. I wonder why pics aren't showing??!! Ugh
  15. I eat Protein first baked fish, chicken breast etc, I stay away from carbs very few I do exercise but not as much as I should. I eat raw veggies and I drink Protein shakes. When I want chocolate I freeze kisses (last longer) or I have an oh yeah bar they are very good as a Meal Replacement but I keep my meals under 250 calories each time. The only issue I'm having is drinking all the Water that's needed.
  16. December 28, 2011 I had my sleeve done it is now may 2012 Alittle over 4 months and I've lost 75 lbs so far long way to go!!! This was the day before my surgery. Long way to go but I'm working it. Side view day before surgery ;( 30 days after surgery. My hair has suffered tremendously typical after surgery 2 months after surgery One month BEFORE surgery
