  1. if you have the money to pay your parents back and pay for the surgery then you should do what will make you feel good about yourself. and make you happy.your parents opinion i am sure you will take into concideration but ultimitly the decision is yours.it is your body and you are in control of it. you have to listen to your heart and do what is best for you.
  2. the pain is gas get up and move. pain medicine is not going to help the gas pain anyway. i wasnt able to tolerate the taste of the liquid pain medicine the dr gave me either i used childrens tylenol. i moved around everytime i had pain and it went away. good luck to you.
  3. it is a slow proccess with the band just hang in there. it gets better
