  1. @momtofive-- I'm in NJ, where are you? I thought you could take gummies, oh well I will ask the Dr.. I got those thick chenile socks to bring with me. I had my gallbladder out a few years ago and I also couldn't get warm the 5 hours I was there thanks to the insurance!!LOL

  3. Hi, my name is Heather and I am going to get surgery on 1-23-13. I was wondering what else I need to get before surgery and to take to the hospital. The doctor said if everything goes as planned I am only staying 1 night (pray for me,I am scared!) First week is clear liquids-I have protien shakes, vitamins (flinstone gummy's),pain meds already filled, broth, suger free jello, sf ice pops ( are sf fudge pops OK?). And what to bring with me to the hospital? I have a rope, slippers, magazines and my iphone. Should I bring my ipad? Not sure if it will work. Any other suggestions are welcome, anything you wish you had brought to hospital or had already at home after surgery? Thanks Alot Heather
  4. Wow, you look great! I am the same starting weight as you and I go on 1-23-13. If you don't mind me asking how tall are you, I am 5' 4" but we have the same shape, and am hoping I do as good as you!
  5. Hi, at my last meeting they said it was mandatory to take zantac or something like that for at least one month for the stomach to heel with no acid. Also they said acid could also mimick hunger, good luck
  6. Hi, I can not get the shakes down, was wondering if I could try the fruit punch drinks from isopure zero carb drinks instead for per op diet and after surgery?
  7. Hi, I went to the same day seminar that you went to, I was the red head asking all of the questions because I was nervous!! I love Dr. Forrester he makes me feel very comfortable. I also love Jenn. I just had my 5 month visit in Nov. and next month I get to pick a date hopefully for sometime in Jan.. I will keep you updated after I have the surgery.
  8. Hi, do you think maybe you need more calories?
  9. I did not get sleeved yet but I am nervous enough about it and the recovery, without the added stress of doing that kind of physical activity 9 days out it will most likely stress you out to much with having that on your mind. Plus you want to be on your top game in the clinical and what if your on pain meds? Good luck with your decision and your surgery!
  10. Hi, that post was from may 25th. I don't want u to worry, but maybe u could look her up to see how she is making out?
  11. I am trying to figure this out and forgot to ask at my surgeon appointment, If my first visit was July 31,2012 and my insurance requires 6 months of Nutritionist visits when would my surgery be? I can't figure out if July counts as the first and my date would be in Dec.? Or does Aug. appoint count as first month and surg. would be in Jan. I think I am so excited I want it to be in Dec and am talking myself into it! Thanks Heather
